An online publishing tool that can help anyone effortlessly find fresh content and create newsletters in minutes.

Where did the idea for Flashissue come from?

One day after nine hours of intense frustration, a beaten-down entrepreneur from Atlanta, GA had had enough. His task had been simple: turn four blog posts he’d written and a couple more he’d found online,  into a simple cool looking newsletter so he could email to some business colleagues. Using the current tools available it had become mission impossible and four months later FlashIssue was born.

FlashIssue is designed for people who want to create marketing emails quicker and easier. It’s based on the premise that you shouldn’t need a double Phd in HTML Formatting to get a newsletter out the door. The goal of the platform is to allow you to discover, organize and package content (aka curation) for online marketing in an insanely easy way. We hope you agree.

I moved to the US eighteen years ago having yomped-it around the world with a backpack and a desire to be curious. I settled in Atlanta, GA with the backpack and $267 in cash. A new obsession ensued; creating and running early stage technology companies. My first venture, Netzip Inc, was acquired and turned into one of the first legal music subscription services prior to Apple's iTunes. After that I co-founded a cloud-based phone provider called Vocalocity that is still listed in Deloitte’s 2012 Technology Fast 500™.
