4 Easy Steps to Email Templates in Gmail

Set up email templates in Gmail in 4 easy steps. See how to add a gallery of Gmail HTML templates to your Gmail Inbox with a few clicks.

Step 1: Go to the top right of your Gmail browser and click on the round settings button. Pull the menu and scroll to click on “Settings,” as shown below.

Step 2: At the top of the page, click on the “Labs” tab.

In the Labs section you’ll find new features that Gmail is testing. If you’re comfortable using Gmail, I suggest browsing the available options and enable those you find interesting.

Step 3: Scroll down until you see “Canned Responses.” Click “Enable.”

Step 4: Click to compose a new email. In the pop-up browser find the facedown triangle next to the trashcan icon in the bottom right hand corner of the new message window. Click to open the menu, scroll to “Canned Responses” and click “New Canned Response.”

Now save and name your email template to be used to send in Gmail!
